Note To Self
You never have to move your car for alternate side of the street parking on a Wednesday. It's Mon & Thurs, or Tues & Friday. So I got asked for 3 dollars, coming and going, from the same crackhead during my little discovery. The second time I asked him if he didn't recognize me from a few minutes ago. Before I even finished he said "You the same one ain'tcha..." and went on his merry way. Poor guy.

Janet.
Still on my mind. Realized I didn't mention anything about the way those money-makers of hers looked during her appearance. So I will now. She really puts a hurtin' on cleavage. They looked happy there in the middle, nudged against one another, one a little up, another down (like the lyric in the second song). She's learned how to maximized the self-hug to make them so, so so plump in the middle, like Ball Park hotdogs. I bet there's make-up on them to make them look so creamy. Dreamy. It's not THAT cold out there. You could see the breath, but I think that was more foggy than freezing. She used the weather to hug herself on that stool so 'the girls' would give us their own little concert.

I should be mad at her, but I ain't.

Wow. Two Songs?
Gotta say...not regretting staying home today. Plus I gotta move my car in a half hour.
So....I'd heard that on Letterman she denied the breast being intentionally exposed. Today she confirmed it with Diane Sawyer. I raged against Justin when he said the same thing--seems in all equanamity, I should blast Janet too because that is SO hard to believe.

[pout] But I just can't blast her.[/pout]
I literally melt when Janet smiles. I know she had surgery done on that nose, but I remember those cheeks from way way way back. The girl is beautiful. She's beautiful.

But anyway, all those people went out there for two songs, ya'll. Ouch. And some who came from North Carolina, and some from Florida. For two songs.

Janet's train is chugging steadily. She doesn't need my defense, nor would any of my criticism damage her in the slightest.

Oh well.

Nope, I Didn't Go
I woke up at 6:30.

So I turn on Good Morning America to get a barrage of bad news from all corners of the globe. More soldiers dying. Another college girl gone missing.

Interspersed is pictures of the crowd down there at Battery Park. Huddled in the drizzle. Bundled against the cold. Waiting and waiting.

I put the remote on mute and wait for a sign of Janet. My compromise might be buying the new CD.
